Yesterday night we decided to make mini egg shaped cakes. So I rounded up my little helper and started to mix up the cake. It turns out, however, that my little frog is afraid of the electric mixer. So instead of helping she stared at me and cried. She looked so sad and scared and so she went and joined her daddy until the mixing part was over.
When it was time to fill the cake pan, she came back in. She loves spoons in bowls, so of course that's the first thing she grabbed. It was fine, until she decided to sample the wares. Mamma decided it was best to take the spoon away.
She would not be deterred, however, and so in went the hand. That's when the helper got banished from the kitchen. It was past her bedtime so daddy put her to bed.
When it came time to decorate, my other little helper came to join me. He soon got tired of it, though. He'd much rather relax in the comfort of his daddy's arms.
