Two weeks ago, we decided it was time to get out some of the new present the kids had gotten for Christmas. (In case you are wondering we still haven't gotten them all out. We're spreading out the fun.)
Here Jeff is pumping up Honkey (the kids named him that because he kind of looks like a horse, and kind of looks like a donkey). As you can see Gwendolyn thought he was pretty cool.
But then we tried to get her to ride him. He had made a strange noise when Jeff put in the plug (a screech of whistling air) and Gwendolyn changed her mind about him.
She would pat him, drag him around, and even share her snacks with him, but there was no way she was going to get on him.
As you can see Nadia and Maes think Honkey is pretty great. Finn likes him too. (Gwendolyn as of yesterday has decided that he is super fun to ride aka bounce on. So all is good.)
Then Nadia broke out her bead loom. (Yes she is in a slightly too big shirt that she uses as pajamas).
Here she is the next day, after she had finished the bracelet she was making.
Gwendolyn cuddling with Mom after getting up from her nap.
Maes being Maes.
Cuddling with Dad.
The three younger kids got to go to a friends house for a play date while Nadia was at school. Gwendolyn thought it would be fun to ride in the back of a dump truck.
And then she fell off.
The boys playing with a chalk mat.
Gwendolyn getting her modeling on in a fire hat.
Makayla loves Maes.
Gwendolyn coloring.
Angy face!
This girl loves her dolls.
Nadia and Gwendolyn coloring together.
New crayon please.
Oh look. I wrote on myself earlier with a pen.
I wonder if crayon will show up.
They love each other.
Gwendolyn's new obsession. "Let it Go" from Frozen.
Here she is singing while watching it the song on You Tube.
And yes she is naked. That is because the last few days she has decided that after an hour of wearing clothes, she's done. So she promptly strips. If I get her dressed again, she quickly removes her clothes as soon as I turn away. She has also learned how to get into the fridge, and will bring me the gallon of milk. Can anyone say fridge lock.
